Ahmed Gad is an international affairs professional dedicated to advancing democracy, peace, and sustainable development across the globe. He focuses on institutional strengthening, rule of law, and peace throughout the Western Hemisphere. He previously worked in the Peace and Sustainable Development Program at the International Peace Institute in New York, focusing on the localization of the 2030 Agenda in West Africa. His work addressed the intersection of youth, peace, and climate action. Ahmed credits Glendon for instilling positive values and practical skills that have shaped his career in international affairs. He continues to leverage these skills to promote greater participation and inclusion in addressing global challenges. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professionnel des affaires internationales, Ahmed Gad se consacre \u00e0 la promotion de la d\u00e9mocratie, de la paix et du d\u00e9veloppement durable dans le monde entier. Il s\u2019int\u00e9resse particuli\u00e8rement au renforcement des institutions, \u00e0 la primaut\u00e9 du droit et \u00e0 la paix dans l\u2019h\u00e9misph\u00e8re occidental. Auparavant, il a travaill\u00e9 pour le programme de paix et de d\u00e9veloppement durable de l\u2019Institut international pour la paix \u00e0 New York, en se concentrant sur l\u2019adaptation du Programme 2030 au niveau local en Afrique de l\u2019Ouest. Son travail portait sur les rapports entre jeunesse, paix et lutte contre le changement climatique. Selon lui, Glendon lui a inculqu\u00e9 des valeurs positives et des comp\u00e9tences pratiques qui ont fa\u00e7onn\u00e9 sa carri\u00e8re dans les affaires internationales.
