UPSA proudly offers free, one-on-one, drop-in (no appointment necessary) tutoring in several Psychology courses, including core required, historically difficult, and highly requested courses. Our Peer Tutors are available for drop-in sessions Monday-Friday from 10 am to 5 pm to serve your unique academic needs!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All Peer Tutors are selected through a rigorous and fastidious interview process and possess a firm grasp on the course content. Peer Tutors have received at least an A in the courses they are tutoring for and hold a minimum cumulative GPA of at least a B+. Peer Tutors have also received immense tutoring-specific training in communication, problem-solving, learning strategies, study tips, academic resources, and much more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At UPSA, we wholeheartedly believe and passionately advocate for student success. All of our students should be able to strive for academic success without economic hindrance. Therefore, to make this ideal a reality, all our services, including tutoring, are absolutely free!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sessions are typically in a 1-on-1, tutor-tutee format (though this can be altered if there are multiple students attending at the same time). By and large, this endeavour is to ensure maximum understanding and catering to your own preferences and learning styles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
