As a Class Representative, you will have the job as the liaison between all your classmates and your professor. You will facilitate study groups with your classmates and attend Class Representative meetings throughout the term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is a great way to get to know your classmates and practice your leadership skills. It definitely looks great on a resume and best of all you get to network and meet great people!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are in a first or second year course within the Faculty of Science or Lassonde School of Engineering (except for Physics and Natural Sciences) please consider applying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Have questions or want a copy of the above information in a different format? Recruitment typically takes place early September and January. Please check back when applications are open.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Roles and Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Meet with the course director\/instructor on a need-to basis to discuss feedback received from classmates<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organize study groups; coordinate timings with PASS Leaders and book study rooms as necessary<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keep accurate records of study group attendance and other interactions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make class announcements regarding any events\/workshops\/seminars organized by Bethune College<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attend meetings with fellow CRs and the CR Program Coordinator when necessary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mandatory Orientation and Training<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Attend Basic Peer Leadership (BPL) Training<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attend Class Representative (CR) training<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete all mandated health and safety, and workplace training.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please note<\/strong> - Failure to attend any mandatory training may make you ineligible for the position.
