The Canada briefing on the Lancet Countdown: Tracking Progress on Health and Climate Change has garnered attention from national and local press, including , , and the .
The Dahdaleh Institute hosted the launch event, which saw over 100 people gather at ¿ì²¥ÊÓÆµ and hundreds more tune in via livestream. Panelists included leaders of medical associations and civil society organizations as well as researchers. They discussed Canada’s role in shaping climate change globally as well as what global climate change means for Canada.
