Graduate Student Scholar
Alexandra is a PhD candidate in sociocultural anthropology working under the supervision of Prof. Margaret MacDonald. Alexandra's research focuses on the work of coalitions, non-profits, and municipal institutions in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to protect the "health" of the city's water bodies, asking what ontologies of water—and what forms of systemic violence—are produced and reckoned to ensure the water safety.
