Dr. Nahzat graduated from Kabul Medical University in 1995. He has a master degree in public health in from Royal Tropical Institute. He has worked as a medical professional in different organizations e.g., medical doctor in Ibn-e-Sina hospital, surgery ward; Head of leishmaniasis department at Institute of Malaria & Parasitic diseases, Ministry of Public Health; regional program officer with Dutch NGO, Health Net International; technical coordinator for Global Fund Project implementation; national malaria & leishmaniasis control program manager; and TB case manager with Tajikistan Stop TB Partnership.
