Taylor is a fourth-year biology student at ¿ì²¥ÊÓƵ and a member of the lab of Prof. Jude Kong at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. She is completing various data science projects related to Canadian and international COVID-19 pandemic response. Projects include an investigation into the factors influencing COVID-19 decision making by Canadian post-secondary institutions, and a study leveraging social media and machine learning for early detection of pandemic-related medical resource shortages. She is also passionate about conservation work and is involved in climate action efforts in Canada and The Bahamas.
