Research Assistant, Afghan Refugee Health-Related Canadian Resettlement
Research Team
Wajma Soroor is a graduate student in the Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioners Program and a Registered Nurse. Wajma has used interdisciplinary approaches to use film, theatre, and performing arts as a bridge for and to health education and front-line clinical service. She completed her honours degrees in sociology and communications in addition to nursing science. She is excited to join the Afghan Refugee Health-Related Canadian Resettlement Scoping project, which will explore the health-related well-being of Afghan refugees who have arrived in Toronto as part of the Canadian response to conflict and instability in Afghanistan.
