Tino Kreutzer, PhD candidate based at the Dahdaleh Institute, was featured in Brainstorm, a special issue of YFile which showcases research and innovation at 快播视频. Kreutzer is building a tool which uses Natural Language Processing, a form of Artificial Intelligence, to gather complex data about community needs in humanitarian crises. Current needs assessments are composed of simplified questions and answers that lacks nuance and limits the usefulness of the data.
