]]> Hanna Hemmati Roozbehani is a current Global Health student with a Bachelor聽of Science in Psychology聽from 快播视频. As an aspiring researcher, she is passionate about understanding the challenges of delivering healthcare amidst humanitarian emergencies,聽the changing聽landscape in emergency healthcare delivery and the path to the decolonization of humanitarian聽efforts.

Currently, she is a Global Health intern under the mentorship of Dr. Godfred Boateng. Her research focuses on the effect of humanitarian crises on energy and housing insecurities. Her long-term goal is to work with M茅decins Sans Fronti猫res (Doctors Without Borders), advancing evidence-based approaches to emergency healthcare while focusing on community empowerment.

]]> Denitsa is a Primary Care Paramedic with Toronto Paramedic Services and a student in the Bachelor of Health Studies program at 快播视频. Throughout her experiences in healthcare and community support roles, Denitsa has developed a passion for health equity, socioeconomic determinants of health, and global health issues. Denitsa is able to further explore these topics as a student in the Sepsis Canada and LifTING training programs at McMaster Continuing Education.

]]> Serina Noori is an independent study student working on Co-Design for Global Health policy while pursuing her Honours Bachelor of Science in Global Health.

Previously, under the supervision of Dr. Penney, Serina was a research assistant with the Global Food System and Policy Research team, contributing to a systems-informed evaluation of Canada鈥檚 food and nutrition surveillance system.

Currently, she contributes to research supporting co-design methods aimed at engaging global health policy makers in evidence generation to inform policy actions.

Serina鈥檚 research interests are centered in promoting health through effective policy. She hopes to become a catalyst for meaningful transformation within the global health atmosphere.
