Viens, the Experiential Learning in Global Health - Research Assistant 1 (for up to 11 hours per week) will support pedagogical research and program development of simulation-based experiential learning initiatives (World Health Assembly Simulations) and materials for global health, especially around global heath governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Specific research activities the student(s) will be engaged in:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Conducting research materials search, compilation, and synthesis<\/li><li>Creating and managing database of relevant research and educational materials<\/li><li>Draft summary documents outlining key research findings and project design elements<\/li><li>Support the design and implementation of global health simulations<\/li><li>Support simulation learning objectives\/outcomes<\/li><li>Support the development of a simulation-based experiential learning faculty toolkit<\/li><li>Support the development of a simulation facilitator training manual<\/li><li>Participation in regular project team meetings<\/li><li>Assist in the promotion of the simulations to fellow students using various outlets<\/li><li>Brainstorm engaging marketing tools of the simulations on the School\u2019s website<\/li><li>Providing administrative support as required<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Current undergraduate York student. <\/li><li>Demonstrated interest in issues of global health<\/li><li>Demonstrated research skills and experience (e.g., conducting literature reviews)<\/li><li>Excellent communication skills (e.g., professional email\/phone correspondence, presentation proficiency)<\/li><li>Excellent computer skills (word processing, email, spreadsheets, social media)<\/li><li>Demonstrated eagerness to learn and take on initiative<\/li><li>Demonstrated organizational and time management skills<\/li><li>Ability and willingness to work both independently and as part of a team with researchers, students, and other team members<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application materials<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Cover letter <\/li><li>Resume<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have any questions, please email <a href=\"mailto:GH_DIR@yorku.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">A.M.
