Humanitarian Water Engineering Online Intensive Course, Fall 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are very excited to announce the sixth offering of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/hwe.dighr.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Humanitarian Water Engineering (HWE) Intensive Course<\/a> \u2013 a comprehensive 12-week program focused on safe water supply in humanitarian emergencies. Participants will explore key topics including water quality assessment, emergency source development, treatment technologies, distribution systems, and outbreak preparedness. The course blends curated readings, interactive lectures, and problem-based learning (PBL) activities, all guided by experienced facilitators. Designed for WASH practitioners, engineers, and graduate students, it equips participants with essential skills for real-world humanitarian response.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Fall 2025 Humanitarian Water Engineering course will run from September 3 to 3 December 3, 2025 (inclusive).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This course is a joint initiative of the&nbsp;Dahdaleh Institute for Global Health Research, the&nbsp;Lassonde School of Engineering, and&nbsp;CIFAL York.
