Post-Doc Mark Terry<\/a> unexpectedly chaired a panel at the Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences 2019<\/a>. Originally invited as a panelist, he stepped in as Chair due to last-minute schedule changes and facilitated the session titled Visual Worlds of Colonial Reverberation<\/i>.<\/p>\n

As well as facilitating the session, Mark presented The Geo-Doc: Remediating the Documentary Film as an Instrument of Social Change with Locative Theory and Technology<\/i>. Fellow presenter, Marcia Leticia Gomes of the University of Rondonia, presented Who Tells and Who is Told in Amazon's History? A Reading of the Chronicles of Gr\u00e3o-Par\u00e1 and Rio Negro<\/i>. <\/p>\n

Unrivaled in scope, the annual Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences is the convergence of over 70 scholarly associations, each holding their annual conference under one umbrella.
