The scoping study will map out operationally relevant knowledge gaps and research priorities in the humanitarian domain through a combination of literature review (grey and published) and key informant interviews;<\/li>\n<li>map the humanitarian research funding landscape;<\/li>\n<li>support in defining and accelerating a humanitarian health-related research agenda that leverages the world-leading expertise at ¿ì²¥ÊÓƵ in multiple domains (engineering, health, environmental studies, etc).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Specific research activities the student(s) will be engaged in:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Create a digital research archive of resources that are organized in such a way that is user friendly;<\/li>\n<li>Create a series of draft PowerPoint presentations that capture the core conceptual content.<\/li>\n<li>Explore ways in which the research programs at the Dahdaleh Institute could be improved upon through analyzing user statistical data;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Type of research experience the student(s) will receive:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Critical thinking<\/li>\n<li>Conducting literature review<\/li>\n<li>Preparing presentations and written outputs of research<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Type of training and support that will be provided to the student(s) in carrying out these research activities:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Methodological training on data analysis and conducting literature reviews<\/li>\n<li>Subject matter training on global health and design<\/li>\n<li>Regular status meetings with your supervising full-time faculty<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: inherit; font-size: 1.56em; font-weight: 600;\">Qualifications<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Current undergraduate York student (we encourage applicants from diverse programs of study).
