Dahdaleh Institute Faculty Member Dr. Amrita Daftary served as one of the evidence reviewers for this version of the guidelines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These guidelines provide new and updated recommendations and good practice statements in the following areas: starting ART, including initiating treatment outside the clinic and support for same-day ART start; frequency of clinical visits and ART refills; measuring adherence; tracing and re-engagement in care for all populations; psychosocial support for adolescents living with HIV; task sharing for diagnostic services; and service integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This guideline seeks to provide support to Member States, programme managers, health workers and other stakeholders seeking to achieve national and international goals to end the HIV epidemic as a public health threat by 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons aligncenter is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-background\" href=\"https:\/\/apps.who.int\/iris\/bitstream\/handle\/10665\/341052\/9789240023581-eng.pdf\" style=\"background-color:#004b8c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Access the full guidelines<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The World Health Organization recently published the latest version of the \"Updated recommendations on service delivery for the treatment and care of people living with HIV\".
