Go to the <a href=\"http:\/\/careers.yorku.ca\/online-system\/\">Career Centre portal<\/a> and search for the posting with the Job ID listed above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Hourly wage:<\/strong> $18 per hour<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Hours per week:<\/strong> 15 hours per week<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Start date:<\/strong> September 5, 2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>End date:<\/strong> April 26, 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job description<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the supervision of Dr. Shital Desai, the AMR Human Impact RAY student (15 hours per week) will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Design appropriate tools, methods, for the data collection<\/li><li>Collect pilot data using designed Research methods and tools<\/li><li>Assist in documenting the methodology<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Specific research activities the student(s) will be engaged in:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Gathering information about AMR<\/li><li>Creating and maintaining a structured and annotated bibliographic review of existing literature organizing resources, projects, and individuals;<\/li><li>Managing sources using reference management software.<\/li><li>Conduct literature review on how human behaviour impacts spread of AMR and what is the role of Design Research in controlling the spread<\/li><li>Using Atlas ti to visualise the themes prominent in the literature review<\/li><li>Submit ethics application<\/li><li>Collect pilot data using designed Research methods and tools<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Type of research experience the student(s) will receive:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Critical thinking<\/li><li>Conducting literature review; Creating annotated bibliography; Knowledge of reference management tools, analysis software<\/li><li>Design Research Methods<\/li><li>Preparing presentations and written outputs of research; Editing and formatting drafts;&nbsp;<\/li><li>Professional communication skills<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Type of training and support that will be provided to the student(s) in carrying out these research activities:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Methodological training on literature review and use of Atlas ti<\/li><li>Subject matter training on Design Research Methods<\/li><li>Regular status meetings with your supervising full-time faculty<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Current undergraduate York student. Applicants from diverse programs of study are encouraged. Skills and resourcefulness in drawing mind-maps and tabulating information is an asset.<\/li><li>Demonstrated note-taking, journal-keeping, and filing skills.<\/li><li>Demonstrated excellent communication skills: professional written and interactive correspondence, public speaking and presentation.<\/li><li>Demonstrated excellent computer skills (word processing, email, database, spreadsheets, forms, and slides; facility with Office 365 Apps). WordPress editing skills are an asset. Social media communication skills are an asset.<\/li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills, including international and cross-cultural communication.
