The Finance Department also provides support to senior university administration and various Board Committees on finance and budget related matters. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-pane kt-accordion-pane kt-accordion-pane-4 kt-pane290_f5ea3f-8d\"><div class=\"kt-accordion-header-wrap\"><button class=\"kt-blocks-accordion-header kt-acccordion-button-label-show\" type=\"button\"><span class=\"kt-blocks-accordion-title-wrap\"><span class=\"kt-blocks-accordion-title\"> Office of the Comptroller <\/span><\/span><span class=\"kt-blocks-accordion-icon-trigger\"><\/span><\/button><\/div><div class=\"kt-accordion-panel kt-accordion-panel-hidden\"><div class=\"kt-accordion-panel-inner\">\n<p>The Comptroller's office oversees:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Financial Reporting\u00a0<\/strong>maintains the university ERP system (PSoft Finance) and the University's internal reporting system (eReports). This department is also instrumental is the management of the year-end reporting and audit, including the preparation of the university financial statements. In addition, the Financial Reporting team provides monthly, quarterly financial analysis reports, balance sheet analysis, taxation analysis and financial forecasting reports to both internal senior management and external government agencies, as required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Research Accounting\u00a0<\/strong>provides financial services and advice to the research community with respect to external and internal research grants and contracts. Our mission is to provide efficient, effective and timely financial administration of all research funding, thereby minimizing the university's exposure to financial risk. For more information on their services visit\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/finance.info.yorku.ca\/managing-research-grants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Managing Research Grants<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Accounts Payable, Expense Desk, General Accounting, and Accounts Receivable have moved to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yorku.ca\/universityservices\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">University Services Centre (USC)<\/a>!  <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-pane kt-accordion-pane kt-accordion-pane-5 kt-pane290_45bdca-5e\"><div class=\"kt-accordion-header-wrap\"><button class=\"kt-blocks-accordion-header kt-acccordion-button-label-show\" type=\"button\"><span class=\"kt-blocks-accordion-title-wrap\"><span class=\"kt-blocks-accordion-title\">Pension Investments<\/span><\/span><span class=\"kt-blocks-accordion-icon-trigger\"><\/span><\/button><\/div><div class=\"kt-accordion-panel kt-accordion-panel-hidden\"><div class=\"kt-accordion-panel-inner\">\n<p>The Pension Investments Management office assists the Pension Fund fiduciaries in carrying out their duties with respect to the administration and oversight of the ¿ì²¥ÊÓƵ Pension Fund and works with external agents to manage and co-ordinate all functions relating to the ¿ì²¥ÊÓƵ Pension Fund.
