Dean MacLachlan will be speaking on different degree types and providing tips on the most effective way to structure your graduate studies journey. The webinar will help outline the different milestones graduate students have to reach during their time at York and how to plan to graduate on time. Additionally, the panel will cover important resources that the university offers to students such as professional skill development opportunities and financial resources.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/events.yorku.ca\/events\/demystifying-grad-funding-2\/\"><strong>Grad Webinar: Demystifying Graduate Funding<\/strong><\/a><br>Wednesday, March 13 at noon<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Graduate funding packages can be a deciding factor for many students when choosing a program that fits their needs. In this useful session, participants will obtain a comprehensive in-depth look at how the funding package is broken down both for Master\u2019s and PhD students. Additionally, participants can gain an understanding about two types of funding, funds that are granted and funds that are earned, as well as external and internal scholarship opportunities. The information presented in this webinar is general and can be applied across different programs.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/events.yorku.ca\/events\/learning-about-grad-school\/\">Panel Event: Learning about Grad School from Our Alumni<\/a><\/strong><br>Thursday, March 14 at noon<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>From diversity in perspectives to numerous financial and personal resources, discover how York pushes the boundaries of graduate education from the perspective of students.
