Chair of SPHM at Connected Minds Conference

The Chair of the School of Health Policy and Management (SPHM), Vijay Mago was part of a session at the Connected Minds Conference.  The focus was on large language models and how they are impacting  a wide range of industries and the impact on how work is done and decisions are made.

The morning began with a deep dive into one of the most talked-about technologies of our time:
The session Applications and Risks of LLMs, co-chaired by and , featured and , who offered a sharp and grounded look at this rapid shift. They explored both the promise and the pitfalls: models that can drive innovation and efficiency, but also hallucinate, amplify bias, and slip through regulatory cracks. It was a clear-eyed discussion that cut through the noise, examining how potential and responsibility must move forward together.


Dr Dean Ray to Speak at Harvard University

is invited to deliver a talk,“Indigenous Agency & Settler-Colonial Structure” to the , Weatherhead Institute, Harvard University on November 4th 2025.
