Eligibility<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Students are eligible to apply for residence if they meet all <\/strong>requirements below:
1) Are enrolled in a full-time undergraduate degree program for the 2026-2027 academic session (18 credits over F\/W terms or 9 credits per term).
2) Have no significant behavioral infractions reported while living in or visiting the York residences.
3) Have no outstanding debt in their student account from previous academic terms.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Assignment and Preferences <\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Returning residents are not guaranteed a space in residence and are strongly encouraged to apply early to improve their chances of getting an offer. Housing reserves the right to rescind any offers if student applicant is found not eligible to live residence.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Offer Acceptance and Confirmation <\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Current residents that are not in good standing (with financial\/behavioural block) will not receive a housing offer.

Students will receive information about the new roommate matching, room selection, and housing acceptance process as it becomes available. Current student residence offers will begin in March and continue throughout the summer depending on availability. Residence offers will not include building and room information. Students will have the opportunity to choose their own room through the Room Selection module.

Information regarding moving into residence will be available her<\/a>e<\/a> and will be updated as move-in day approaches. A move-in package email will be sent to residents who accepted a space prior to arrival.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Waitlisted Applicants <\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Housing Services will endeavour to update students on wait list status from time to time.
