Dana’s career journey has taken her through roles in operations, credit, underwriting, fraud, money laundering and enterprise risk, ultimately leading to a leadership position where she works on designing and implementing compliance frameworks across Canada and North America.
Prior to joining ¿ì²¥ÊÓÆµ, Dana started her educational journey with the Faculty of European Studies within the BabeÈ™-Bolyai University, one of the oldest, most prestigious, and largest universities in Romania. Dana is an alumna of the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies since 2005 where she completed her BA and a certification in Human Resources Management.
She is energized by the balance of strategic thinking and practical problem solving whether guiding teams through new privacy legislation, developing fraud awareness programs or shaping policy governance.
Family remains a central part of her life and being both a leader and a parent has shaped how she approaches challenges - with ambition, compassion, and perspective.
As an immigrant to Canada, she carries a deep appreciation for resilience, adaptability and community, values that influence both her professional work and her personal commitments outside of work.
Dana is proud to have served as a mentor in this program for the past several years and she actively engages in community initiatives including the CFLA (Canadian Finance Leasing Association) Empowering Women Leaders Committee, where she supports women navigating their professional journeys within the asset landing space
