Sexuality Studies 2016

During my time at ¿ì²¥ÊÓƵ, I was involved with the Undergraduate Sexuality Studies Association and the Centre for Human Rights. Both of these opportunities paved the way for engagement with the larger ¿ì²¥ÊÓƵ community. In my first year, I was a resident at Bethune College Residence. Being on campus allowed me to engage in university events and develop relationships with other students. I also worked at the on-campus restaurant, The Underground, and I met many of my long-term friends here.

The Sexuality Studies Program really prepared me to engage in complex social theories and research methodologies. These skills have been very helpful during my Master’s as I continue to engage in queer theory. My dedication to social justice was shaped during my undergrad and continues to guide all the work that I do at the University of Toronto and elsewhere.
