I graduated from the Communication Studies program at ¿ì²¥ÊÓƵ in 2011, and currently works as a Lead, Corporate Strategy at the Town of Georgina. No doubt my interest in government and its role in shaping local culture was sparked by the Politcs, Policy and Media course I took in 2nd year. The politics and policy stream provides a solid foundation for critical thinking in the civic context. Plus, the field experience I was able to get in 4th year really helped me find work after graduation, and helped me attain a greater understanding of what it’s really like to work in the communication and culture industries.
