Since York I've worked as a freelance journalist, and coordinated media-arts storytelling programs with resilient youth communities. I also work as a writer, mostly publishing short stories these days; I'm also continuing to develop two novel manuscripts. My favourite course at York was Alternative Media, which looked at progressive and regressive media content. While at York I had an opportunity to work as a research assistant for Patricia Mazepa, and later returned as a guest lecturer in one of her courses.
