Using International Human Rights principles as a framework, the course examines both inferiorized and stigmatized minorities, the forms of prejudice and discrimination responsible for their unequal treatment and disadvantaged life conditions, as well as strategies for change designed to gain recognition for minority rights to dignity, power and equality.
