The course provides a theoretical grounding in socio-legal approaches to queer subjects and surveys major legal issues such as the criminal regulation of LGBTQ sexuality; same-sex relationship recognition, parenting and marriage; LGBTQ rights in migration and immigration; homophobia in education; and battles for LGBTQ human rights protection.
