rights and social justice and thus affirms that personal experiences are embedded in social structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through research, curriculum and critical pedagogy the School will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>address oppression and subordinations as experienced and mediated through class, race, Indigeneity, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, age and disability;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>develop a critical appreciation of the social construction of reality;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>promote an understanding of how values and ideologies construct social problems and how they construct responses;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>prepare students to be critical practitioners and agents of
