From the safety of their suburban stretch circle, the team navigates big questions and wages tiny battles with all the vim and vigor of a pack of adolescent warriors. A portrait of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for nine American girls who just want to score some goals.

Dance Collective

The VCP Dance Collective is made up of a team of dancers of varying style and skill levels who, through a rotating choreographer system, are given the opportunity to challenge themselves by creating and teaching choreography in their preferred style for fellow members. This year鈥檚 recital is a robust showcase of talent that spans various genres of dance including hip hop, jazz, K-pop, musical theatre, ballroom, tap, lyrical, and contemporary.

Charlie Price has reluctantly inherited his father's shoe factory, which is on the verge of bankruptcy. Trying to live up to his father's legacy and save his family business, Charlie finds inspiration in the form of Lola, a听fabulous entertainer in need of some sturdy stilettos.听As they work to turn the factory around, this unlikely pair find听that they have more in common than they realized... and discover听that听when you change your mind, you can change your whole world.
Kinky Boots is the big-hearted musical extravaganza that won six Tonys听including Best Musical, the Grammy听for Best Musical Theatre album and London鈥檚 Olivier Award for Best Musical.听 Kinky Boots听features a joyous, Tony-winning score by pop icon Cyndi Lauper,听and a hilarious, uplifting book by four-time Tony听winner, Harvey Fierstein.

Vanier College Productions' Show Choir performs a unique show each year, comprised of new arrangements and mashups of Broadway showtunes and Top 40 hits. The show is fully choreographed, with costumes, lighting, 'and all that jazz!'. Selections will include songs from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Turning Red, Mean Girls, Legally Blonde, The Drowsy Chaperone, City of Angels, Children of Eden, Shrek, Ragtime and songs made famous by Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, Sonny and Cher, Meghan Trainor, Kelly Clarkson, and Lady Gaga! Featuring an opening performance by VCP鈥檚 Grad Choir!

For this season's showcase, students from the BIPOC Artist Hub have been working towards bringing their work to life, this year focusing on fantasy and the world of BIPOCAH. With exhibits that range from visual art, board games, live performances, literature and more, we hope to transport you to other worlds with our personal stories, reflections and ideations.
