The recipients were 10 first-year Black students enrolled in a LA&amp;PS program, who were selected by the Advisory Committee to the Special Advisor on the Faculty of Liberal Arts &amp; Professional Studies\u2019 Anti-Black Racism Strategy. This space is the first of its kind for LA&amp;PS undergraduate Black identified students to meet, connect, create, network, and study. Professor Lawrie spoke to students about their personal experiences at York, as well as their hopes and expectations.
