A long-term talent development model built with industry. Students work full-time in paid roles with employer partners while completing continuous, year-round learning tied directly to what they’re doing on the job. Over four years, learners move through intensive on-campus learning blocks, apply threshold concepts in the workplace, and consolidate knowledge through capstone experiences—supported by mentorship from both York and employer teams.

This learning amplification model allows students to build deep technical capability while contributing meaningfully to your organization from day one—reducing ramp-up time, increasing retention, and shaping skills in real time.

Students specialize in software development, data science, or cybersecurity. The program was developed in collaboration with national employers including Shopify, RBC, GM, EY, Dayforce, and others. Markham-based IBM is among the growing roster of partners.
