Research Interests:
Haleh Hashemi is a Clinical Psychology PhD student at ¿ì²¥ÊÓÆµ. She received a Bachelor of Science (Specialized Honours) in Psychology from ¿ì²¥ÊÓÆµ, and recently completed her Master’s training in Clinical Developmental Neuropsychology at ¿ì²¥ÊÓÆµ. Haleh's primary interest lies in exploring innovative technologies using artificial intelligence to better understand and assess infant pain and ultimately improve the practice of infant pain management in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). For her Master’s thesis, Haleh conducted a qualitative study examining maternal perspectives on skin-to-skin care and skin-to-skin contact for the management of acute procedural pain in very and extremely preterm infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
