We will continue to work at creating spaces that are free from discrimination based on gender identity or sexual orientation and where everyone is valued. We understand that our community members have intersectional identities. Together, we have a shared responsibility to create an environment that allows all community members to be their most authentic self.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We encourage everyone to visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yorku.ca\/yupride\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pride Month website<\/a> and participate in the many events and celebrations happening throughout the month to learn more about the significant contributions 2SLGBTQIA+ community members have made across the University.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is our responsibility to work towards removing barriers for members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community who have been historically, structurally and systematically excluded.
