📢 Teaching Opportunity: Course Director – DEMS 3707 (Fall 2025)

The Disaster & Emergency Management program at ¿ì²¥ÊÓÆµ is currently hiring a Course Director for DEMS 3707: Ethics – Society, the Environment and Disasters, a 3.0 credit course offered in Fall 2025.

Course Details:

  • Time: Mondays, 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM (Eastern Time)
  • Format: In-person or blended
  • Course Focus: This course critically examines ethical dimensions in disaster and emergency contexts, engaging students in moral reasoning, social justice, and environmental responsibility.

Eligibility:

  • Graduate degree required
  • Background in ethics, environmental studies, or disaster/emergency management preferred
  • Previous university-level teaching experience is an asset
