About
Dr. Woldegerima, knows as "Assefa", is a newer faculty member as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at 快播视频.
Before his recruitment to 快播视频, Assefa was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Mathematical Models and Methods in Biosciences and Bioengineering Lab at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. He has obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Buea, Cameroon in a collaboration with Lehigh University in the USA in August 2018 on In-host Immunopathogenesis modelling鈥, and his Master鈥檚 degrees: one from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) with a master thesis on 鈥淓xistence and uniqueness of viscosity solutions for Hamilton-Jacobi PDEs and applications to optimal control theory鈥.

In-host modelling, infectious modelling, modelling the impact of climate change on infectious disease dynamics, applied differential equations, AI for Infectious disease modelling and prediction, ODE Neural networks, data analysis in Python.
