Research Focus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

My research focuses on understanding the how transcription factors and enzymes modify their conformation and partnerships upon receiving signals. These signals may include the binding of ligands or post-translational modifications such as phosphorylation. Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy is routinely used to determine atomic-level structures of the protein complexes studied in the laboratory. All of projects undertaken in the laboratory are very collaborative and have molecular biological and biochemical components that complement the NMR studies. As structural studies also have a computational component, a willingness to use computers (UNIX-based systems) is a must.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
