Through a combination of self-guided learning, workshops, and applied practice, students will strengthen their ability to foster inclusive environments and engage in equity-focused leadership within higher education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The certificate is designed for maximum flexibility and may be completed in as little as one semester, or over the course of three years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All workshops will be accessible and tracked through&nbsp;<strong>YULearn<\/strong>. Upon completion, students will be awarded a digital certificate.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Note: Students need to take a total of 4 modules<br><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Students need to complete these two mandatory modules:<\/mark><\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The DEDIA&nbsp;Self-Reflective Toolkit<\/strong> (five modules)&nbsp;Online Asynchronous self-paced<br>Registration: <a href=\"https:\/\/yulearn.yorku.ca\/local\/yulearn\/learning_opportunity.php?id=1069\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/yulearn.yorku.ca\/local\/yulearn\/learning_opportunity.php?id=1069<\/a><br>This foundational, self-paced toolkit invites students to explore their own identities, values, and positionalities in relation to decolonization, equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.
