Revised Service Outages and Advisories for Holiday Period


Please share the following update with your teams.

Over the holiday period, UIT will be conducting system maintenance as follows:

Dec 24th 7:00 am – Dec 24th 9:00 am – Wireless Network Enhancements

Rescheduled to: Jan 5th 7:00 am – Jan 5th am 8:30 am

  • No service interruption is anticipated during this exercise. 


Dec 27th 8:00 am – Dec 27th 2:00 pm – Data Centre Network Maintenance #1

  • No service interruption is anticipated during this exercise. 


Dec 28th 8:00 am – Dec 28th 2:00 pm – Data Centre Network Maintenance #2

  • No service interruption is anticipated during this maintenance.

 

Dec 29th 6:00 am – Dec 29th 9:00 pm – Building Network Maintenance

  • During this time, all buildings will experience rotating network outages (wired and wireless) for approximately 20 minutes per building.

 

Dec 29th 9:00 am – Dec 29th 4:00 pm – William Small Centre Network Upgrade

  • During this time, all network services within the William Small Centre will be unavailable.

 

Dec 30th 6:00 am – Dec 30th 9:00 am – Core Network Maintenance

  • During this time rotating 15-minute outages will be experienced by remote sites (YUMIC, YorkGate, TDCSB and 16 Phine).
  • Backend connectivity to Azure services will experience a 15-minute outage.

 

Dec 30th 9:00 am – Dec 30th 11:59 pm – Ross Building Network Upgrade

  • During this time, all network services within the Ross building will be unavailable.
