As part of 快播视频鈥檚 improvements to cybersecurity, the University has changed anti-virus solutions, and is no longer supporting Trend Micro anti-virus (AV) for personal use. Microsoft and Apple operating systems provide built-in anti-malware protection.

**Please note if you have previously downloaded the Trend Micro AV solution for personal use from York, follow the instructions below to continue protection of your device:
Confirm Windows Defender is enabled and running:
- Select 鈥淪tart鈥 menu
- Go to 鈥淪ettings鈥
- Select 鈥淯pdate & Security鈥 Windows Security
- Go to 鈥淲indows Security鈥
- Select 鈥淰irus & threat protection鈥 鈥 Virus & threat protection settings
- Click on 鈥淢anaged Settings鈥
- Ensure the 鈥淩eal-time protection鈥 setting is On
