USC IT Services team members are experienced and knowledgeable, striving to provide timely and efficient resolutions to your IT inquiries, while maintaining a superior level of customer service.\u202f\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> The USC IT Services team is accountable and responsible for the delivery of services in the following areas:&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\">Client Services:<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\">\u202f initial point of contact for reporting technical problems, Passport York\/Duo requests, making requests for service, telephone mobility requests and switchboard services.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li><li><strong style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\">Classroom Operations:<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\">\u202fprovides in-classroom support for AV equipment (including PCs, peripherals, etc.), performs preventative maintenance, and<\/span> responds to break\/fix calls for service. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Client Services and Classroom Operations teams partner with all IT teams on campus, including UIT and Faculty IT teams, on reporting, tracking, triaging and resolution of reported break\/fix issues and service requests.\u202f The team is the liaison between the York community and central IT service teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table is-style-stripes\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><thead><tr><th class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\"> <strong>USC<\/strong> IT Services<\/th><th class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yorku.ca\/uit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color\">UIT (Central IT)<\/span><\/a><\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yorku.ca\/universityservices\/usc-it-services\/client-services\/\">Client Services &amp; Account Management<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yorku.ca\/universityservices\/usc-it-services-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> <\/a>(\u201cHelpdesk\u201d)\u200b - To resolve tickets\/inquiries or escalate to UIT teams as&nbsp;required <\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">Institutional IT Strategy, Planning, Policy\u200b<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\"> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yorku.ca\/universityservices\/usc-it-services\/classroom-operations\/\">Classroom Operations<\/a> - To support for classroom AV equipment, maintenance, and repair<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">Information Security\u200b <\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\"><\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">IT Innovation &amp; Academic Technologies\u200b (Learning Technology Services, Enterprise Academic&nbsp;Application Services)<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\"><\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">Client Support Services (Client Technical Services; Audio Visual Support Services;&nbsp;Workgroup Technology Services; Business Solutions Group\u200b)<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\"><\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">Operational Excellence &amp; Institutional Applications\u200b (Project Management Office; Business Management &amp;&nbsp;eCommerce Applications; Enterprise Analytics &amp; Business&nbsp;Applications; Integration, Design &amp; Identity Services, SIS\u200b)<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\"><\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">ICT Infrastructure (Systems Management Services, Database Services, Network&nbsp;Services, Telecommunications) <\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\"><\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\"> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yorku.ca\/ssrp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Student System Renewal Program<\/a><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>USC IT Services is the initial point of contact for reporting technical problems and providing account management, for clients seeking solutions and making requests for service.
