Glenna McArdle, an employee in York’s Faculty of Education, died on Saturday, March 5, after a courageous battle with cancer. Ms. McArdle joined the Faculty in November 2001 as a records assistant in the Pre-Service Practicum Office.
Her sense of humour and quiet composure will be missed by all of her colleagues at ¿ì²¥ÊÓƵ. She was unfailingly polite and helpful to students and was a wonderful colleague.
As per her wishes, there will be no public service. She is survived by her partner Murray Ayers.
The York flag will be lowered to half-mast tomorrow in honour of Ms. McArdle.
