The annual competition is organized by a committee of Schulich alumni, hosted by Schulich\u2019s Real Estate and Infrastructure Program and sponsored by RealNet Canada, the country\u2019s leading real estate information services company.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright  wp-image-199346\" style=\"margin: 8px\" alt=\"Seymour Schulich Building\" src=\"https:\/\/yfile.news.yorku.ca\/files\/2014\/02\/Schulich-wide-building-shot-1024x652.jpg\" width=\"368\" height=\"235\" \/>Teams of graduate students from the following schools will compete in this year\u2019s competition: the\u00a0Schulich School of Business; the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation at Columbia University in New York; the Rotman School of Management; the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University; and the School of Urban and Regional Planning at Queen\u2019s University.<\/p>\n<p>The event will begin with competitors receiving a real-world case study Feb. 28 at 9am. Presentations of the five finalist teams will be made to judges at 3pm. The winning team, to be announced by 5pm, will receive a $3,000 cash prize, while the second place team will receive a $1,000 cash prize.<\/p>\n<p>Judges for this year\u2019s event are Michael Emory, CEO, Allied Properties REIT; David Gerofsky, president &amp; COO, Great Gulf Group of Companies; Martin Blake, vice-president, Daniels Corporation; James Ritchie, senior vice-president Sales &amp;
