Science Explorations at York is still accepting registrations for its March Break Science Safari, a week-long program of exciting and engaging activities for students in Grades 3-8. Running from March 10 to 14, the March Break Science Safari features a variety of activities focused on science and engineering disciplines.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Future of Science\u201d is a day devoted to the discovery of research. From building miniature rockets to real working electromagnetic windmills, participants in the March Break Science Safari will discover how different technologies affect our world.<\/p>\n

Limited spaces are still available. Register online<\/a>.<\/p>\n

March Break Science Safari is a new initiative of the Science Explorations Program of the Faculty of Science at York. Science Explorations offers a variety of camps and workshops throughout the year. All designed to engage pre-university youth in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The program includes, the Summer Science Camp, Saturday Science Workshops and a variety of GTA elementary school workshops. This summer, the Faculty of Science launches \u201cHelix\u201d, a summer science instate for gifted and high performing students in grades 9 to 12.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
