The purpose of the new Dahdaleh COVID-19 Global Health Portal is to provide some clarity in this time of uncertainty, and to allow users to find the information they need.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The Dahdaleh COVID-19 Portal offers:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Regular updates on the state of the pandemic prepared by Dr. James Orbinski, a medical doctor, professor and the inaugural director of the Dahdaleh Institute of Global Health Research at ¿ì²¥ÊÓƵ, and Dahdaleh Fellow Aria Ilyad Ahmad.<\/li>\n<li>Credible, intelligible, and useable sources of information.<\/li>\n<li>The Dahdaleh Institute\u2019s framework for understanding COVID-19 as a global public health emergency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Dahdaleh COVID-19 Global Health Portal can be found at: <strong><a id=\"LPlnk595699\" href=\"https:\/\/dighr.yorku.ca\/covid19\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\">https:\/\/dighr.yorku.ca\/covid19\/<\/a><\/strong><a id=\"LPlnk595699\" href=\"https:\/\/dighr.yorku.ca\/covid19\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\"><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em>An interview with Dr. James Orbinski about the new portal will appear in the April 9 issue of <\/em>YFile<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The new portal offers up-to-date current research that is presented in a clear, concise manner.
