The Fellowship is a one-year term, commencing in September 2022 and includes a stipend of $40,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The GSPIA is a unique global institution that contributes to advancing public policy and international affairs in an interdisciplinary and bilingual environment. The GSPIA is a dynamic and collegial community of talented students, faculty and Fellows, who share a passion for shaping Canada\u2019s future and contributing to innovative and effective public policy. GSPIA alumni have succeeded as leaders in public policy, government, non-governmental organizations, education and the business sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Power Corporation of Canada Distinguished Fellowship has been established to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>conduct research in one or more of the areas of public institutions, progressive economics, public management, international diplomacy, health and education and\/or other relevant topics as part of the GSPIA;<\/li><li>deliver formal lectures and mentor graduate students;<\/li><li>participate in and bring together academics, advocates and practitioners as part of a showpiece colloquium or conference on behalf of the GSPIA;<\/li><li>participate in communication and promotion efforts of the GSPIA; and<\/li><li>develop and cultivate relationships with the media, the public service and civil society organizations, and international organizations.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Prospective candidates for the Distinguished Fellowship must demonstrate the following attributes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>proven record of leadership and service in public policy;<\/li><li>demonstrated history of commitment to and engagement in public institutions and public policy;<\/li><li>capacity and willingness to engage in the activities that are required of the role, including research, mentorship, public events and commentary and cultivating relationships with the media, the public service, civil society organizations, and international organizations; and<\/li><li>ability to communicate in French and English.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Distinguished Fellows are chosen by an internal selection committee. For a candidate to be considered by the selection committee, those interested in applying must provide:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>a cover letter describing your interest and experience in public policy and institutions and how you would contribute to the mission of the GSPIA; and<\/li><li>a CV highlighting relevant experience, contributions and publications. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Glendon Campus and 快播视频 value equity and diversity and encourage applications from members of groups from one or more of 快播视频\u2019s designated groups: women, racialized groups, Indigenous people and persons with disabilities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications will be reviewed commencing Feb. 18.
