A panel of researchers from Canada, Brazil and Germany will discuss One Health's approaches to tackle global health threats during a virtual discussion on Feb. 23<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and is organized by the Dahdaleh Institute for Global Health Research at 快播视频, and will feature five experts in the field. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The panel discussion on Feb. 23 will discuss One Health's approaches to tackle global health threats<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

This panel discussion will offer an informal opportunity for panel members to discuss their insights on the evolving designs, plans and implementation of OH approaches to tackle global health threats. The panelists will also discuss specific OH governance approaches in Canada, Germany and Brazil. Attendees will be welcome to join the discussion after the presentations.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Climate change, the rise of antimicrobial resistance, and the pandemic reflect ecological and health crises that threaten planetary health and global health equity gains. One Health approaches recognize the interdependencies of these systemic threats, and an increasing number of states and multilateral organizations are establishing One Health strategies that advance intersectoral efforts to tackle the impact of these threats across human-animal-environmental interfaces.\u202f<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yet, despite the progress made in adopting One Health governance responses, its institutionalization within national plans and policies remains a challenge. How are priorities shaping national and multilateral One Health approaches, and \u202fhow are One Health strategies being implemented? The panel of leading experts will discuss national and multilateral One Health approaches designed to address these shared global concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
