The platform helps to conveniently connect students to a live health-care professional from anywhere, whenever necessary.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The partnership expands the reach of programs already available to York students while addressing the need for increased accessibility to quality primary care and mental health services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYork currently offers several well-being services \u2026 but primary health care remains a gap,\u201d says <strong>Lori Walls<\/strong>, executive director, Student Counselling, Health &amp; Well-being, at 快播视频. \u201cThis new partnership will provide an additional resource to students searching for primary care providers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cExpanding care options for our patients is our mandate,\u201d says Virtual Health Clinic's Director of Marketing &amp; Communications, Jyoti Panchal. \u201cOur on-demand virtual health-care solutions, which [are] offered free to Ontario residents with a valid health card, will assist 快播视频 students with quick access to Virtual Health Clinic's allied health-care providers including primary care physicians, internists, cardiologists, nutritionists, mental health professionals and more.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Virtual Health Clinic\u2019s services are available seven days a week, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. (including statutory holidays), and offer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>primary care for common ailments such as cough, cold or flu, fever, migraines, digestive health, urinary tract infections, skin concerns, sexual health and more;<\/li><li>new prescriptions and prescription refills;<\/li><li>lab results and requisitions;<\/li><li>X-ray\/ultrasound results and requisitions;<\/li><li>specialist referrals \u2013 endocrinologists, cancer care, cardiology, dermatology, gynecology, etc.;<\/li><li>diabetes health;<\/li><li>work and school medical notes;<\/li><li>COVID-19 testing, screening referrals and counselling; and<\/li><li>mental health support including:<ul><li>anxiety counselling<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>substance abuse counselling<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>depression.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Convenient access to health-care solutions from anywhere<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>York students can access the Virtual Health Clinic's virtual care services through\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.virtualhealthclinic.com\/york-university\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.virtualhealthclinic.com\/york-university<\/a>\u00a0or by calling\u00a0844-222-7200.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Patients 16 and older can make an appointment without proof of guardianship.
