It takes about\u202f<strong>10 minutes to complete.<\/strong>\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\u202f<em>Maclean\u2019s<\/em>\u202freputational survey for faculty (English version) is available at: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.surveymonkey.com\/r\/MacleansAcademicSurvey202402\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">surveymonkey.com\/r\/MacleansAcademicSurvey202402<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The French-language version of the reputational survey is available at: <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.surveymonkey.com\/r\/MacleansSondageEnseignant202402\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fr.surveymonkey.com\/r\/MacleansSondageEnseignant202402<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Maclean's University Ranking is an important part of the decision-making journey for prospective students. These rankings build strong awareness about York\u2019s&nbsp;academic and research accomplishments among higher education institutions throughout Canada and around the world, attracting students, future leaders, faculty, and staff to join and partner with our academic community,\u201d said <strong>Marcia Annisette<\/strong>, vice-provost academic. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAll faculty colleagues, instructors and senior administrators are eligible to complete the reputational survey to highlight York\u2019s academic excellence and global leadership. Together, we can continue to be a driving force for positive change.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Any eligible faculty, instructors or senior administration members who encounter issues while completing the survey are encouraged to contact the Office of Institutional Planning &amp; Analysis at\u202f<a href=\"mailto:oipa@yorku.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">oipa@yorku.ca<\/a> for guidance. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From a research perspective, 快播视频 has much to be proud of:\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yorku.ca\/global-engagement\/global-research-funding-opportunities\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Global Research Excellence Seed Fund<\/a> was <a href=\"https:\/\/yfile.news.yorku.ca\/2024\/04\/05\/york-announces-new-initiative-to-advance-global-research\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">launched<\/a> to strengthen the University\u2019s research partnerships worldwide and enable faculty members to forge deeper global connections across communities, academia and industry.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>York\u2019s Connected Minds: Neural and Machine Systems of a Healthy, Just Society is the largest <a href=\"https:\/\/yfile.news.yorku.ca\/2024\/02\/13\/connected-minds-one-year-later\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">research program<\/a> in the University\u2019s history ($318.4 million), engaging researchers from across the Faculties and disciplines. It has delivered several seed grants and PhD awards, expanded its roster of experts, and increased visibility and participation at several research events since the 2023 launch.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>York\u2019s externally sponsored research income exceeded $100 million for the fifth consecutive year, with a record level of funding at $121 million in 2022-23, and over the past decade the University has doubled its research revenue.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>York received $1.5 million in funding from the Ontario Vehicle Innovation Network (OVIN) to support small- and medium-sized enterprises and startups in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yorku.ca\/news\/2024\/05\/13\/ontario-supports-the-development-of-smarter-more-sustainable-transportation-technologies-with-1-5m-in-funding-to-york-university-through-ovin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">developing and testing innovative automotive technologies<\/a>, including electric vehicles and smart mobility solutions. &nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFrom advancing socially responsible artificial intelligence to improving emergency disaster management to pioneering innovative sustainability initiatives, York is a leader in research excellence,\u201d said <strong>Amir Asif<\/strong>, vice-president research and innovation. \u201cCompleting the survey helps us draw the next generation of changemakers to York.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other points of institutional pride that highlight excellence happening at York include:\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The University demonstrated continued momentum in several prestigious rankings, including placing in the\u202f<a href=\"https:\/\/www.yorku.ca\/news\/2023\/06\/01\/york-university-named-as-one-of-the-worlds-leading-universities-in-the-2023-times-higher-education-impact-rankings\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">top 40 <\/a>institutions globally\u202fin last year\u2019s Times Higher Education Impact Rankings, climbing more than 100 spots\u202fin the QS World University Rankings and placing in the top 100 globally in three subjects \u2013 education, English and philosophy \u2013 in the 2024 QS Subject Rankings. &nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>York has committed to <a href=\"https:\/\/yfile.news.yorku.ca\/2023\/11\/23\/york-community-key-in-new-target-to-achieve-net-zero-emissions-a-decade-early\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">achieving net-zero emissions<\/a> by 2040, a decade sooner than its previous commitment.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>York successfully hosted the 2023 Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences under the theme Reckonings and Re-Imaginings, welcoming 10,300+ global scholars to our campuses at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yorku.ca\/news\/2023\/05\/29\/york-u-hosts-congress-2023-creating-a-better-world-through-reckonings-and-re-imaginings\/#:~:text=With%20its%20ethically%20sourced%20coffee,chose%20to%20go%20swag%2Dfree.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">largest free-trade event<\/a> in Canadian history.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In its first year as the academic lead of the UNITAR Global Water Academy, the academy launched a <a href=\"https:\/\/globalwateracademy.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">new website<\/a>, and will offer a<strong> <\/strong>flagship course on sustainable water management practices, along with courses on water security \u2013 some of which will be taught by York\u2019s leading water experts.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The recent Ontario budget included a historic announcement to<strong> <\/strong>fund a new school of medicine at York to educate the next generation of talented primary care physicians, addressing critical health-care gaps in the province.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Department of Psychology Professor\u202f<strong>Debra Pepler<\/strong>\u202fwas <a href=\"https:\/\/yfile.news.yorku.ca\/2023\/09\/05\/york-faculty-members-elected-to-royal-society-of-canada\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">one of four York faculty members<\/a> to be elected by the Royal Society of Canada as part of the Class of 2023;
