James Orbinski & Carol Devine at McGill Summer Institute

This year's McGill Summer Institute in Infectious Diseases and Global Health involved Dahdaleh Institute and Community Scholar . They acted as a Faculty Member and Guest Speaker at Humanitarian Action in the 21st Century: Challenges and Dilemmas.

The second day of this intensive program was dedicated to climate change and health. On June 11, James opened the day with a keynote and later led a workshop on humanitarian consequences of climate change. He sat on a panel with Carol Devine, who also led a workshop on the impact of Arctic melt on indigenous communities.
