Under the supervision of Prof. Amrita Daftary, she is working to creatively enhance the online presence of the Social Science & Health Innovation for Tuberculosis (SSHIFTB) Centre. She is also assisting in a systematic review on TB and mental health interventions in South Asia. Prior to this role, Gurher was previously a research dissemination and publication assistant at the Dahdaleh Institute.
Outside of the university, Gurher works as a pharmacy assistant and volunteers at a local hospice. She hopes that her passion for community initiatives—especially as they relate to health—is effectively translated into action through her work.
