AMPD alumni at the Toronto International Film Festival

Claudia Sicondolfo
Vanier Scholar Claudia Sicondolfo is a recent PhD alum who is currently an Assistant Professor (LTA) in the Department of Arts, Media, Culture at UTSC. She recently defended her dissertation, 鈥淧rogramming Process Pedagogy: Towards Meaningful Audience Engagement and Public Participation Models Within Contemporary Canadian Media Arts Festivals, 2012-2024.鈥

Kaz Radwanski
MFA alumni writer-director Kazik Radwanski has become one of the leading lights of Canadian cinema. The Toronto-based filmmaker is part of a community of young independent directors who frequently collaborate with one another, their very different sensibilities inflecting each other鈥檚 projects in provocative ways.

Lawrence Garcia
Lawrence Garcia received the Governor-General Gold Medal (Master鈥檚) for top graduating graduate student at 快播视频 and commences PhD studies at the University of Toronto鈥檚 Cinema Studies Institute in 2023. He has published widely in Cineaste, Film Comment, Cinema Scope, and MUBI Notebook.
